Awful Peeling with the New Formula
I have been a religious user of Caudalie products since 2014, specifically their face moisturizers, eye creams and serums, and have made so many friends, fans of their products as well. Since 2014 and with their Vinosource line, I was using the moisturizing sorbet during winter and fall and the mattifying fluid for spring and summer with no issues. However, ever since they have changed the formulation in 2022 and made the VinoHydra line, I have found the gel moisturizer in both the tube and the tub format, which I was told is the equivalent to the Vinosource mattifying fluid, absolutely dissatisfactory. It peels no matter whether you use anything underneath it or not, and several of my other friends have found the same issue. It is also so disappointing to see these same concerns voiced by other customers previously being dismissed by the company. I was recently told that the formulation has changed since 2022 and gave this product another chance, and NOPE, it still peels like crazy and I am left with yet another tube of this product that I can't return. BEWARE and DO NOT PURCHASE.

Sets are a MUST-KEEP THEM COMING
So I love the sets so you have the ability to test drive the product(s) before investing a ton of $$. Let’s face it, the products here are expensive and sales are slim so when you can grab a set and mini’s, go for it! I tried these 2 for the first time. The gel cleaner is nice, smooth, cleans gently, love it. I do use other Caudalie face cleaners and will now add this so I can alternate. The moisturizer is nice, I’ve only used it alone after cleaning my face on days were I’m not wearing makeup! Otherwise is use the CRU and Reversatrol regimens. I definitely recommend trying these products out!

Great formula
The gel formula is what initially drew me to this moisturiser. It works really well on my combination skin - it feels moisturised but not oily, and doesn’t cause any breakouts.
