So sad this contains titanium dioxide
I adored this lip balm, purchasing it in France and Hong Kong and then when available in the UK. Imagine my distress when I inputted it into Yuka to see a ‘poor’ rating…. not because of the animal-free dye (as misleadingly suggested in the FAQ’s on this page), but because of the inclusion of titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide should not be used if at risk of ingestion, which obviously it is with a lip balm. Please fix this, Caudalie!!

The “orange” rating on Yuka is specifically linked to the use of this mineral colourant as an alternative to animal-derived colourants such as cochineal.
