terrible replacement
The OLD formula was wonderful, very effective and gentle enough to use as a serum. (I've used it for many years.) The NEW formula is very harsh, drying and not gentle at all for daily use as a serum. Perhaps it would be more suitable as a spot-treatment. Very unfortunate that a wonderful, well-liked product was replaced with something that is not equivalent or improved.

new formula, worse results
I agree with the other reviews- the old formula worked and this one is not the same. I have been using the serum for years and it worked amazing on my skin- seeing results within days of using 1-2 times daily, but with this new formula I am seeing the immediate result of greasy skin and MORE acne and blemishes popping up. will be finding a different product that emulates the old formula and not buying this one again. really disappointing as i loved buying from caudalie in the past.

I got this product a month ago because I was having hormonal acne breakouts around my mouth and honestly within a week the breakouts were basically gone! This product is amazing! I wonder though, if I want to start using a retinol, is there any negative effects of combining this to my routine with the acne serum, and is there an order of application with the acne serum and retinol I should know?

Gets acne under control!
Vinopure serum is an effective product to get acne under control. The key is using it consistently. I use this in combination with the toner, wash, and oil control moisturizer from the VinoPure line and saw results in just a week. I started with the trial kit and then purchased full sizes. This serum and the moisturizer can be worn under makeup with no pilling issues.

I love this trial size kit! It has everything you need to determine if VinoPure products are a fit for your skin. These trial sizes lasted me two weeks with x2 day usage. I ended up purchasing full sizes since the products worked well to get breakouts under control. I highly recommend giving the VinoPure line a try if you are looking for an acne solution.

New formula is breaking my trust
The previous formula was amazing with beautiful, gently fresh scent. The new formula is NOT it. This new one has a very strange chemical scent and honestly smells cheap and off-putting. I'm also noticing more breakout on my forehead that I have not had before. Not buying this again unless I hear that the old formula is back. As a committed customer, it is disappointing to see formulas cheapen for greater profit after having established yourself as a premium product.
